specialising in serving international students who have come to London to study. The
organisation has a large portfolio of trustworthy and vetted hosts which allows them to offer a
wide range of choices depending on the students' needs and wants. The staff at BSS are fully trained in student accommodation and welfare and speak a range of different languages. They have a team of Accommodation Assessors who visit all accommodations before accepting them onto their database thus ensuring students are placed in friendly, comfortable and safe homes. All accommodation complies with the English UK Homestay Code of Practice Hosts provide accommodation, meals as booked and rooms are cleaned weekly with bed linen
and towels being changed.
Cost is typically between £140-£250 per week. A booking fee of £25 is payable to BSS.
Payment for accommodation is made twice yearly; the first at least 28 days before the student's arrival and a second payment in the fourth month of the student's stay. If the room
is to be held during holidays a retainer fee is required. Office hours are from 9.30 am until 6pm Monday to Friday. Students are invited to visit the office at any time during their stay in the UK and are giving a 24 hour emergency number to contact them out of hours.
