I was devastated this time last year and I couldn't believe that I had not got into Medicine. However, it was something I was determined to do. Only Abbey seemed to offer a retake in the subject I needed over just one year so I went to look around and was impressed. Even though it would mean a traveling time from my house to the college of over an hour I decided to enrol and have not regretted it one bit. The help I got during my year was brilliant and they also guided me through the UCAS process step-by-step. They even arranged university admissions staff to come into the college to give the prospective medical students mock interviews.
