Adjusting to life at DLD was easy, I enjoy a freedom that I
didn't have in my old school. No Saturday lessons have meant I have
been able to join a junior theatre company.
I have enjoyed being treated as an adult and I feel the timetables
and lesson structures have given me an idea as to what I can expect
at university. The teachers actively encourage independent study
and I have found DLD Live really good for catching up on any work I
have missed as well as getting extra information on subjects. The
facilities and location are great.
The college is in a great building and I have found the library
and IT suite extremely valuable.
The huge range of subjects and the teaching style were key in my
decision to come here. In particular I have really enjoyed
psychology, I have learnt so much about human behaviour and myself!
It is a subject that is relevant to all aspects of life.
DLD? Diverse. Learning. Demanding.
