This week DLD College London Art students welcomed Cameron, a young graphic designer who works in London, to the college for lunch and an informal question and answer session.
Cameron has just finished a degree in graphic design at the University of the Arts London before going on to work at ActivTrades. He recounted his experiences of university life in general and emphasised the need to be able to explain to your lecturers the entire procress from start to finish, rather than just focusing on the final product. Cameron also talked about life after university and the need to properly promote yourself using your own website, social media and private work.
All the students found the experience very valuable, asking a number of varied and interesting questions. There are plans to have more visits of a similar nature in the future.
DLD College London is part of the Abbey DLD Group of Colleges.
