Abbey College Cambridge Student Aiya

Aiya Tungusheva

Aiya is from Kazakhstan and she is studying on Abbey College Cambridge’s one year GCSE programme. Aiya was nominated for her hard work in Chemistry classes. She is always very active in class, works well, is having chemistry mentoring to improve her grades, and this week did extremely well in 2 tests.

Melissa Nwako

Melissa is from the United Kingdom and was nominated as Abbey College Cambridge Student of the Week for all the hard work she put into her revision for the topic test on the biological approach in psychology. Melissa’s hard work really paid off and it showed in her logical and very detailed answers. Melissa is always a hard worker and she is a joy to teach.

Nijad Muradov

Nijad is from Azerbaijan, and he is studying A-Levels at Abbey College Cambridge. He has been nominated for his outstanding work in Mathematics. Nijad always responds well to questions and always contributes some really good answers for the whole class to enjoy.

Pan Yichen (Chiara)

Chiara is from China and was was nominated for helping a new student settle into college life here at Abbey College Cambridge. Despite having stage tests, Chiara went out of her way to make the new student feel welcome and escorted them to their exams without being asked to. Chiara showed much kindness, maturity and the ‘Abbey College Cambridge Community Spirit’by helping to welcome a new member of the school from a different country and culture.
