DLD College London Pancake Day

This week, on Shrove Tuesday, DLD College London students enjoyed their first college wide Pancake Race. The race involved runners tearing around the atrium balcony area while flipping their pancake in a frying pan trying to set the fastest possible time. There were a variety of weird and wonderful techniques from both students and staff impressing the large crowd which cam e to lend their support. JOnathan was the deserved winner who completed six flips while posting an incredible time of 13.22 seconds only narrowly beating out Principal Irfan Latif who took second place. There was a great atmosphere in the atrium and the event was enjoyed by all. Thanks to everyone who took part, all the willing runners and those from the college community who turned out to support. Jonathan was presented with his proze – a golden frying pan – by Irfan after the race. We are all already looking forward to next year’s race.
