Across all three colleges, academic results are some of the best in the UK. The majority of our students progress on to top-ranked UK universities.

International Foundation Programme Results 2020:
The average foundation score achieved by Abbey DLD students this year stands at an amazing 73%, a score that would enable progression to a wide range of undergraduate course at prestigious UK institutions such as Durham University, the University of Leeds, University of Birmingham, Exeter University, and the University of Surrey.
Each of our colleges has also been celebrating average scores of over 70%. The average score at Abbey College Cambridge was 75%, at DLD College London it was 72%, and at Abbey College Manchester 71%, a mark of the quality of foundation programme delivered by all three of our Abbey DLD Colleges. We are part of Alpha Plus Group and follow robust governance procedures. Our teachers are subject specialists, taught at top universities, and with extensive experience of teaching the UK currriculum. Our boarding and pastoral staff are experienced and compassionate professionals.

Across all 3 of our colleges, 42% of all A-Levels taken in 2019 were awarded A* or A grades. More than one third of our Foundation students achieved a Distinction, 42% of our BTEC students also achieved a Distinction. 36% of GCSEs taken by Abbey DLD students achieved grades 9-7.
PROGRESS TO TOP-RANKED UNIVERSITIES
Each of our students received personally tailored university application support and guidance to help them join the best possible university for them. More than 70 Abbey DLD students have joined Oxbridge college in recent years, 33 students progressed to a G5 university in 2019 (Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, LSE, and UCL). 19 Abbey DLD students progressed on to study medicine in 2019, the most competitive of all UK courses.

ONLINE LEARNING
The best option is always to join in person for your studies, but we understand in the current situation that may not be possible.
That’s why we are offering students starting with us in January 2021 the option to begin their studies remotely. Learning online, you’ll attend the same classes, with lessons delivered by the same world-class teachers as students who are attending in person. Our colleges have become leaders in online learning, and we offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities and learning opportunities for our remote students.
You can join us remotely for the first term of your studies, and then join us in person for your second term from April 2021.
