Rob Pidgley

Group Head of IT

With 20+ years’ experience in the Education IT Sector, Rob Joined the Abbey DLD Group of Colleges in 2024. He successfully led the Group IT restructure and migration programme making the three Abbey DLD Colleges IT infrastructure independent of the original parent company.  Following the group restructure he has built and leads an IT support team comprising IT Ops engineers from all three colleges.

Working closely with the rest of the Operations Team, the Data Protection Officer and CEO, Rob retains responsibility for both group-level and individual college-level IT infrastructure design, management and strategy to ensure that staff and students have access to secure, first-class IT systems.
