TATLER SCHOOLS GUIDE BEST HEAD OF A PUBLIC SCHOOL – SHORTLIST ANNOUNCED

15th September 23

The highly anticipated Tatler Schools Awards 2024 nominations have been unveiled by the Tatler Schools Guide team, showcasing the cream of the crop in prep and public schools across the nation.

After a meticulous process of shortlisting 300 schools, including school visits, surveys, and public input, the elite list has been curated by Tatler’s panel of experts.

We are delighted to announce that Irfan Latif, our DLD Principal, has earned a coveted spot on the shortlist for the Tatler Schools’ Best Head of a Public School category.

Upon receiving this prestigious recognition, Irfan shared his thoughts:

“I am deeply honoured to have been nominated for the prestigious title of ‘Best Head of a Public School’ by Tatler. This recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire school community, including our exceptional staff, talented students, and supportive parents. Throughout my tenure as the Principal of DLD, I have strived to create an environment that fosters academic excellence, character development, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Our school’s success is not just measured by academic achievements but also by the values we instil in our students – values of tolerance, respect and kindness.

I want to express my gratitude to Tatler for acknowledging the importance of education and leadership in the public school system. This nomination serves as a reminder of the tremendous responsibility we have in shaping the future of our students and our society. I look forward to the opportunity to continue serving the DLD community, nurturing young minds, and working tirelessly to ensure that our beloved school remains a place of growth, inspiration, and achievement.

Thank you once again for this humbling recognition. Together, we will continue to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and the world they will shape in the future.”
