Abbey DLD Students Celebrate Outstanding 2025 University Destinations

Abbey DLD Group of Colleges is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our 2025 leavers, who have once again secured places at many of the UK’s and the world’s most prestigious universities.
This year’s A Level and International Foundation Programme students have demonstrated ambition, determination, and academic excellence, ensuring bright futures across a wide range of disciplines.
A Level Success
Our Class of 2025 A Level students have achieved exceptional results in university progression, the highlights included
- 34% secured places at UK Top 20 universities
- 56% at UK Top 30 universities
- 70% at UK Top 50 universities
- 52% progressed to Russell Group universities
- 11% gained entry to elite G5 universities (Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, Imperial, UCL)
- 56% progressed to UK Top 20 or Russell Group universities
- 4 students secured places to study Medicine
- 8 students progressed to leading overseas universities
Standout destinations include the University of Cambridge, London School of Economics, Imperial College London, UCL, and the University of Warwick, with large numbers progressing to University College London (16 students), University of Manchester (15 students), and City St George’s, University of London (12 students).
Our students will also be heading overseas to leading global universities including the University of Melbourne, University of Sydney, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Chulalongkorn University.

International Foundation Programme Success
Our International Foundation Programme students have also achieved excellent university outcomes:
- 36% secured places at UK Top 30 universities
- 68% at UK Top 50 universities
- 39% progressed to Russell Group universities
- 68% progressed to UK Top 50 or Russell Group universities
- 9 students secured places for Medicine
- 2 students progressed to international universities
Highlights include progression to University of Bath, University of Warwick, University of Bristol, University of Exeter, and The University of Edinburgh. A strong number of students also gained places at King’s College London (8 students), Queen Mary University of London (12 students), University of Leeds (6 students), and City St George’s, University of London (12 students).
