ADLD 2026 Destinations ALevel Top50

As we welcome the new academic year at each of our schools we wanted to take a moment to share some of the highlights of our ‘Class of 2026’ leavers destinations.

A Level Destinations

Across all three colleges nearly 80% of our A Level students progressed to a top 50 ranked UK university, with over 60% progressing to a prestigious Russell Group University and nearly half heading of to a top 20 ranked UK university.

2026 A Level destinations include all five G5 universities, with 28 students progressing to University College London. Other destinations include King’s College London, the University of Manchester, the University of Bristol and Durham University.

Foundation Programme Destinations

Our Foundation Programme also continues to provide strong progression opportunities to a wide range of UK universities. Among Foundation students progressing to UK universities this year, nearly 70% progressed to a top 50 ranked UK university and nearly half moving to a Russell Group university.

Destinations for our Foundation Programme students in 2026 include King’s College London, The University of Edinburgh, the University of Bath and the University of Manchester, demonstrating the breadth of opportunities available through this pathway.

Our 2026 destinations continue our students’ legacy of progression to top ranked UK universities.

College 2026 Destinations Highlights

At Abbey College Cambridge 91% of A Level students progressed to a top 50 UK university, while 35% progressed to a G5 university. Foundation progression was also strong, with 70% progressing to Russell Group universities.

At Abbey College Manchester 74% of A Level students progressed to a top 50 UK university and 49% to a Russell Group university. Among Foundation and Preparation Pathway for University students, 63% progressed to a top 50 UK university.

At DLD London remains a popular destination, with 61% of A Level students and 93% of Foundation students progressing to London-based universities. Meanwhile, 48% of A Level students progressed to Russell Group universities.
